The Big Wins

  1. Celebrated two years of marriage with a vacation to Athens and Naxos, Greece. Highlights of the trip included visiting the EMST Contemporary Art Museum, walking around the National Garden, eating lots of delicious Greek food, trying local spirits, visiting the Acropolis, going on the “Awful Athens” tour, taking a ferry to and from Naxos, relaxing on the beach, enjoying a local cheese tasting, soaking in sunset views from the Kouros of Apollonas, souvenir shopping in Plaka, getting professional photos taken, as well as sending a few postcards.

  2. Posted my very first sponsored post with Adobe highlighting Content Credentials. You can find it on Instagram and LinkedIn.

  1. Attended the Field Museum’s 75th Annual Members Night and saw my new stickers in person for the first time at The Field. The designs aren’t all new, but they have have printing on the back now!

  2. Launched my anniversary collection of 10 new sticker designs via my blog, Faire, and social media. Read more about the lessons that inspired the designs here.

  3. Added new Logan Square magnets and blue line train buttons to my wholesale product line. These were both special requests of some favorite local shops and are available for wholesale purchase here.

  4. Delivered an order to the Chicago History Museumof stickers to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

  5. Attended both the Adobe Creative Café and the Adobe Creative Retreat in Chicago. I was asked to help facilitate an activity at the Creative Cafe and invited to participate in a full-day retreat with a mix of emerging designers and established professionals. A highlight was seeing so many local design friends and Adobe pals over the two days!

  6. Put lots of stickers and enamel pins into production. I also put a new Garfield Park Conservatory magnet into production to be added exclusively to their gift shop.

  7. Wrapped up work on two custom designs for the Driehaus Museum. These will be launching in their gift shop in the coming months.

  8. Visited the Obama Presidential Centerbefore it officially opens on Juneteenth. Highly recommend grabbing a ticket, it was such a beautiful experience. I’ve been loving all of the party, event, and preview invites I’ve been getting lately - Chicago has SO much to offer and the summer vibes seem to be arriving early this year.

  9. Spent quality time with friends. I celebrated Indigo & Violet Studio’s 8 ½ birthday with my small business friend Leigh (who co-hosts Sunnyside Chats), helped our friends hang art in their new home in Evanston during a belated housewarming hangout, and attended a friend’s dad’s funeral.

May was undoubtedly another full month between juggling vacation time and a full work load. Sweet messages and moments of connection have continued to come from friends and past clients that I’ve been making a point to connect with as I celebrate 10 years in business. I’m truly feeling extra grateful for my business and all of the opportunities that it has afforded me this month. And indebted to both my parents and my mentor for helping me with some unexpected challenges this month.

In June, I’m looking forward to continuing to move my projects forward while making extra time to enjoy summertime in Chicago. If you want to work together in the second half of 2026, please reach out. I am continuing to prioritize wholesale, custom merchandise design, and branding.
