Tell me a little about yourself.

I am the CEO & Founder of Live Learn Dream, Inc and my mission is to close the gap between accessibility and affordability in the marketing/advertising industry with small business owners.

What is your background (education, previous jobs and/or experiences that led you to create)?

I have been in the advertising industry for a decade and am an award-winning digital producer. I’ve also had roles in digital project management, UX design, operations, and business transformation. My cross-department experiences have led me to create my own business to fulfill my mission and work with underserved communities, rather than global brands. My global brand work includes: Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Kelloggs, Nestle, and more.

What led you to start your business, Live Learn Dream?

From the beginning of the pandemic and being more involved in my community from politics to social justice, it became super clear and inevitable to the public eye on the difference between the resources accessible for businesses to stay afloat.

All of my career, I’ve worked on several global brands with multi-million dollar budgets. However, a new solopreneur or even a 6-figure business owner who received recent growth doesn’t have that incredible amount of abundance to invest in marketing and advertising. It’s unrealistic and completely inaccessible, and I want to change that by providing professional agency-level services for entrepreneurs to give them a solid foundation that they can be proud of their brand and have legs to elevate as their business grows.

What do you find most rewarding about your profession?

My versatility in my skill sets and experiences in the ad agency industry working together with global brands and their campaign/product launches allows me to accelerate results for my clients and customers’ expectations. It is rewarding to identify gaps and level up my client’s business across every touchpoint.

What are some of your short/long term goals?

My goal is to fully scale up to serve in my marketing membership and reach as many small business owners as possible who are in the coaching, education, and e-commerce space.

My long term goal is to have my business running without me, allowing the the right people the opportunity to take over leadership roles of each line of business which include the marketing membership, design studio, and merchandise line.

What is one of your favorite projects you've done?

My favorite project to date is the rebranding & production of Create! Magazine’s new website, online magazine, and digital products. It’ll be launching in time for its 5 year anniversary in October 2021. As I have been working on the variable pieces of outputs, it’s been so fulfilling and satisfying to be able to push modern digital trends and be part of this brand’s journey in its peak transformation stage.

How would you describe the process of working with Lettering Works to establish your branding? What did you enjoy most?

Thanks to Chelsie, the process was seamless from start to finish of my logo redesign! It’s been an absolutely joyride! As a brand designer myself, it’s hard to step out from the grey area of working on your own brand and not getting too personal with it, and never being able to stop working on it!

How do you feel about your new logo?

Chelsie has the professional industry background and style I was looking for to represent my newly formed company, and I was able to put my full trust in her, and allowed her to run with it, which in turn, helped me greatly as an entrepreneur to focus on other areas of my business! I’ve been eyeing her work for months, and finally, when the time was right to evolve my branding, I was stoked that she accepted me as a part of her bookings of this year.

Why do you think artists and small business owners should invest in branding their arts business?

It’s a no-brainer investment if creative entrepreneurs are going to take their business seriously full-time. The ROI is incredible, to make yourself and your business be taken seriously by potential clients, customers, press, brand sponsorships, and collaborations.
