Lettering Works Launches New Therapy-Inspired Sticker Collection to Celebrate Spring

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth with Lettering Works’ latest collection of stickers, inspired by the transformative lessons of therapy and self-care. Each sticker is designed to empower you to cultivate mindfulness, set healthy boundaries, and reclaim your time from the often-overwhelming digital world.

I began sketching concepts for this collection on my vacation to South Carolina in February. I felt like I was in a great headspace to reflect on intentional choices made for self-care (as it was a trip to both enjoy time with a close friend and escape the coldest days of the Chicago winter). I was able to create a variety of designs that responded to countless conversations I’ve had in the past several months and recurring themes I’ve experienced as someone who prioritizes personal and professional development. As I feel a pull away from social media and towards real connection - with both others and myself - I am carving out intentional time to create and share various mantras that have been guiding me towards self-improvement and growth.

Through this new collection, two major themes came forth: embracing self-care and setting healthy boundaries.

Embrace Self-Care: Self-care isn't selfish; it's essential for your well-being. By prioritizing self-care, you're acknowledging your worth and taking proactive steps to nurture your physical, emotional, and mental health. Whether it's carving out time for relaxation, engaging in activities that bring you joy, or setting boundaries to protect your energy, self-care empowers you to show up as your best self in all areas of your life.

Set Healthy Boundaries: Boundaries are the ultimate act of self-love and self-respect. By setting boundaries, you're defining your limits and communicating your needs clearly to others. This not only protects your emotional and mental well-being but also fosters healthier relationships built on mutual respect and understanding. Setting boundaries allows you to prioritize what's important to you, conserve your energy, and create space for growth and fulfillment in your life.

I had fun playing around with a new color scheme that felt more bright, magical, and uplifting. Alongside this new sticker collection, I created two custom designs for Amelia of Off The Grid Podcast.

Custom Merchandise design for Off The Grid Podcast

I created two custom sticker designs for my business friend Amelia Hruby of Softer Sounds. Amelia is the host of Off The Grid Podcast and also has two communities that I am a part of, Interweb and the Lifestyle Business League, which is co-founded with Taylor Elyse Morrison. If you are interested in joining the Lifestyle Business League, you can apply here and use code “CHELSIE” to get $25 off your membership.

And be sure to give Amelia’s podcast a listen if you are a small business owner who wants to leave social media (or reduce your usage) without losing all of your clients. And if you give it a listen, you may just come across one of our Lettering Works ads that I received in exchange for my custom merchandise design.

I will be a guest on Amelia’s podcast in May and couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to work with her again in new capacities this year after being such a fan of her work since we met back in 2019 and collaborating a small handful of times.

Know of an airport gift shop, independent retailer, or museum gift shop that might be interested in selling these stickers or others from our growing collection? Please send them our way!

If you don’t own a shop and are not in need of wholesale, you can still shop our products on the Lettering Works online shop here.
